The Power of Mediation

On the 13th March at the second meeting of the All-Party Parlimentary Group on Conflict Issues, Lord Douglas Hurd and Karl Mackie addressed the power of mediation in the international environment. The consensus of opinion in the room indicated that people are experiencing a shift from the traditional powerbase of Arms to a more subtle approach akin to the mediation process that already works so well in the commercial environment.
