
Stephen Woodward - Non Executive Director
One of the co-founders of ResoLex with Patrick
Green, Stephen is also
a director of international property, construction and risk specialist
consultancy, MDA Consulting, and acts as a consultant for the
Office of Government Commerce (OGC) under its Strategic Advisory
Consultancy Service (SACS).
ResoLex enjoys the benefits of Stephen's extensive experience in the construction industry, particularly in representing funders and investors on high risk projects and pioneering the use of new mediation techniques within project management:
- Undertaking a lead role, analysing risks, issues and managing stakeholders in achieving financial close of the Wembley National Stadium project
- Srategic planning, stakeholder and business change management in directing the additional storage programme for The British Library
- A cross Government evaluation of the construction procurement criteria which led to OGC adopting the NEC suite of contracts as the preferred contract form for Government construction procurement
- A
construction risk assessment of over £1 billion of loans for the
property finance team of a major bank with recommendations as to future
strategic risk management
In his role at MDA Consulting Stephen is responsible for high level change
readiness assessments for clients as part of its risk management
process, Project Optimisation. He specialises in risk and strategic
project management, procurement advice and strategies including
programme and project health checks, advising on the OGC Gateway
process, programme management, collaborative working / supply chain
management, applied mediation / facilitation, dispute prevention and
conflict management.
