James's practice covers a range of contractual and tortious areas.
Common law negligence, Contract and Commercial and Employment.
In addition James has an interest in Sports Law. He has advised and
represented public and statutory bodies, both in litigation and public
inquiries. He has acted as advisor and assessor to such bodies in the
discharge of their disciplinary functions. He acted as Counsel to a
national sports governing body over a number of years, dealing with
disciplinary matters, drafting of rules and in the provision of general
advice. He also acted on its behalf in Court. He has wide experience of
representation before other sporting and disciplinary bodies.
