Jane is an experienced mediator with wide variety of two, three and four party mainly commercial mediations, as both co- and lead mediator, with claims worth between £23 million and £2,000 involving life insurance, contract, banking, charity, professional negligence, employment, land and family property disputes and personal Injury (see below for examples of cases mediated) Over 80% settlement rate "on the day", and also acts as a consultant in business development to ResoLex

She is on the Development Committee of Law Works Mediation, (a branch of the Solicitors Pro Bono Group) to promote free mediation services for small commercial claims.

  • Centre for Policy Studies examining the future of Financial Regulation

Before concentrating full time on mediation Jane spent 12 years as Head of Litigation with the Financial Services Authority (formerly The Securities and Investments Board) and has specialist knowledge of Fraud, financial malpractice and Regulatory issues: money laundering, insolvency, investigations under the Financial Services Act and Companies Acts. Regulation of banks, securities firms and insurance companies, including enforcement and discipline by the FSA.
