Eddie Sibley - Chairman
Following a distinguished legal career in the UK and the USA with
major law firms Eddie is now managing partner of Sibley & Co, a
role he combines with his chairmanship of ResoLex (Holdings) Limited.
Having made a significant contribution to the introduction and
development of mediation as the principle form of alternative dispute
resolution within the commercial world Eddie is now a well known and
highly regarded member of the international mediation community.
He was one of the founder members of the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) and for 13 years was a member of its board of directors. He is a frequent contributor to ADR conferences both in the USA and in the UK and has been included in the list of experts in the ADR section of Chambers Guide to the Legal Profession since the inception of this category.
Eddie is qualified to practice law both in the UK and the USA where he is a member of the New York State Bar. His principle area of private practice is international and domestic commercial litigation, arbitration and mediation, including banking partnership and shareholder disputes, professional negligence, civil fraud and financial services disputes where he has represented clients before all the principal financial regulatory bodies. He has acted as advocate in over 20 Department of Trade and Industry investigations.
