
Christopher Miers
Christopher Miers is a Chartered Architect and Chartered Arbitrator and is a director of Probyn Miers Limited. Alongside his continuing architectural practice, he undertakes appointments in dispute resolution as an arbitrator, adjudicator, mediator and expert witness. He is on the Panel of Arbitrators of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and the Royal Institute of British Architects, and is an accredited mediator with the Centre for Dispute Resolution and a founder member of the Construction Contracts Mediators' Group. He is also on the Panel of Adjudicators with the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Centre for Dispute Resolution, the Construction Industry Council, and the Chartered Institute of Building.
Having gained his Honours Degree and Diploma in Architecture from the University of Bristol in 1979 and 1982 respectively, he was awarded his Masters Degree in Construction Law and Arbitration in 1991 from Kings College, University of London. In 1993, he was elected as a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators.
